No time to really rest...

This week has been rather frenetic, and next week will not be any better.  The one after will be a minor improvement, but the Bendigo-Eaglehawk shows are on that weekend, so I think it will be March before things settle out properly.
On the upside - Linda has finally started budgeting.  True, I'm doing it for her, but I am never going to see any of my money again if I don't.  I have cleared her credit card debts twice now ($3000 a time), I paid for her trip to Hong Kong last year, and I loaned her nearly $1200 over Christmas.  I've given up on the big amounts, but the line has been drawn.  I have to have the Christmas money back.  And Sarah owes me about $700.  The good thing about her is that she has just taken over her car insurance - I'm expecting mine to drop to about $600.  I should be saving about $100 a month.  And we are still trying to give her phone bill over to her - that is costing me around $100-$140 a month.  It'll be like a $3000 pay rise!  And if I can get her to take the health insurance by mid-year that will give me another $90 each month.  I've committed to give Phillip up to $230 each month - $80 is the extra for living in Chisholm college above what it was, and I said he could have $150 for food (coles vouchers) if he needs it.  Most of the latter part of last year he didn't need it, but I'll keep it available just in case.
It's hard to avoid the thought that if I got rid of all my money black-holes that I'd be a whole lot better off....

I'm finding that I'm mentally tired at the end of the day, but not getting sufficient time to recover before bed.  add to that the fact that I HAVE NO SCOTCH just now, and you can see that my routine has been severely disrupted.  Nor will I be able to afford any this side of March.  I haven't had my legs or eyebrows waxed since early December either.  My legs are so bad that I'm going to have to shave them to make them even suitable for getting someone else to do them!  And I can't afford THAT until March too.

Still, life's not that hard - we are going to Embrasse on Monday for Valentine's Day dinner, and I'm reading a book (on Kindle for PC) about the evolution of the female orgasm...
Now to dinner next door.

Just a quiet Saturday night

I have just spent the last hour and a half looking at Phillip & Rosie's photos from their road trip to Perth.  They have taken some beautiful photos - I'm a bit jealous, I'd love to do a similar trip.  With a bit more money, though!
I've done a new entry in the zz blog - for the first time in my life I've said how I spent all those hours alone all my life... any why I think I did it.  go read!
Life is good - I got stuff done today, still got more to do, but that's OK.  Tomorrow is Dad's birthday, and we are going to the Olympic for dinner...
I'm struggling to write .  I have to do this more often.
Goodnight
